James E. Carty, III is a 1987 Harvard Law School graduate. Mr. Carty graduated cum laude from Harvard College with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Government and Afro-American Studies in 1982. He is a former IBM Marketing Representative who began his legal career with the law firm of Kramer, Levin, Nessen, Kamin & Frankel, where he practiced in the areas of information technology law, intellectual property law, general corporate law, commercial law, and financing and securities law.
Mr. Carty is the former Chairman of the Intellectual Property Law Section of the National Bar Association. He has also served as Chairman of the Commercial Liability Subcommittee of the Computer Law Committee of the Association of the Bar of the City of New York. Mr. Carty is a former editor of the National Bar Association’s Intellectual Property Law Section Newsletter and he actively participated in the drafting of the American Bar Association’s Model Funds Transfer Services Agreement and Commentary. Mr. Carty has been a member of the American Bar Association (Science and Technology Section, Electronic Commerce and Information Technology Division; Business Law Section, Committee on the Law of Commerce in Cyberspace; and Intellectual Property Law Section). Mr. Carty has also been a member of the Computer Law Association and the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys.
Mr. Carty has served as a faculty member for a number of continuing legal education courses including: (i) Practicing Law Institute’s 1999 & 2000 Courses entitled “eCommerce: Strategies for Success in the Digital Economy”; (ii) the 1999 NBA Annual Convention Seminar entitled “The Importance & Impact of Intellectual Property in the New Millennium for the Sports, Arts and Entertainment Lawyer”; (iii) the 1998 NBA Annual Convention Seminar entitled “Hot Intellectual Property and Information Technology Issues”; (iv) the 1998 NBA Mid-Year Conference Seminar entitled “Intellectual Property and Information Technology Issues for Corporate Counsel”; (v) the 1999 & 1998 NBA Region IV “Law and Technology Seminar”; (vi) Practicing Law Institute’s 1996 & 1997 Courses entitled “Doing Business on the Internet: The Law of Electronic Commerce”; (vii) the 1996 & 1997 National Bar Association Intellectual Property Law Section Annual Convention Seminars entitled “Mining for Intellectual Property Gold in Commercial Transactions”; and (viii) the 1995 Lexis Counsel Connect “Law of the Electronic Road Seminar”. He has also served as a luncheon speaker on “Electronic Commerce & Technology Acquisition” for the Government Patent Lawyers Association. Mr. Carty has also served as a speaker on “Overcoming IP Barriers to Successful eCommerce” for the Aerospace Industries Association.

Christopher C. Roberts is a 1994 Rutgers University Law School graduate. Mr. Roberts graduated cum laude from Howard University with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting in 1991. Mr. Roberts has an extensive litigation practice in the Federal and State Courts in New Jersey. His practice encompasses commercial litigation, employment litigation, contractual disputes, intellectual property litigation and personal injury. Mr. Roberts interned for the Honorable F. Michael Giles. He is admitted to practice in New Jersey and Georgia. He is also a legal columnist for the Essex Times Newspaper and frequently speaks on employment law and other topics.
Kenneth E. Walker is a 1987 Harvard Law School graduate. Mr. Walker graduated magna cum laude from Harvard College with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Economics and Afro-American studies in 1982. Mr. Walker has a sophisticated transactional practice which includes information technology law, tax, corporate, real estate and banking law, and mediation. Mr. Walker has represented a Fortune 500 corporation in the drafting and negotiation of numerous multi-million dollar information technology service agreements. He has also represented a major media company in numerous technology transactions in the communications industry. Mr. Walker is a former corporate planner analyst who began his legal career with the Dallas law firms of Haynes & Boone and Weil, Gotshal & Manages. Mr. Walker is the past President of the J.L. Turner Legal Association and has served as an Adjunct Professor of Partnership Taxation at Texas Wesleyan School of Law. He has broad tax experience which includes tax planning, tax litigation, tax controversies, corporate tax, partnership tax, international tax, and state sales, franchise, and property tax. Mr. Walker has developed an Aviation Law practice which includes the representation of various clients in connection with commercial transactions at major airports.
Demetri Chambers is a 1990 University of New Mexico Law School graduate. Mr. Chambers graduated from the University of New Mexico-Anderson School of Management with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Business Administration in 1987. Mr. Chambers began his legal career with the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation where he handled a variety of litigation and bankruptcy matters. Mr. Chambers has a general commercial litigation practice which includes, among other areas, intellectual property litigation, labor & employment, debt collection and bankruptcy.
Mr. Chambers also provides teaching and instructional advice by performing workshops and seminars covering the following topics: civil and commercial litigation and related topics, real estate law, bankruptcy, debt collection, unfair business and trade practices and other legal topics.
Additionally, Mr. Chambers mentors primary, junior high and high school students concerning general life skills and career planning.
